A test for Degenerative myelopathy is available for $65.00 or free if certain criteria are met.  Although our health survey data does not reflect a large number of Great Pyrenees affected with DM, the health problem does appear to have a higher than reported incidence.

 

The FDA has launched a new public database of animal drug approvals.  This site allows users to search for detailed descriptions of all FDA-approved new animal drugs.  As we are all acutely aware, information about a medication and potential side effects to anticipate, are vital to the overall appropriate treatment of our dogs health issues.

GPCA (Great Pyrenees Club of America) has just released data from their health surveys.
